Voici un petit Conus archiepiscopus qui paraît-être f. sirventi de Madagascar et de la dernière Bourse/Expo de l' AFC (Paris 2011). Les dessins de sa spire, qui semblent dire qu' il n' a pas toujours été de cette couleur, et le fait qu' il ai été trouvé beached ne plaident pas en sa faveur. Le dessin foncé en zigzags allongés répond assez bien à la description de Fenaux commentée par Lauër in Rossiniana ainsi que la forme générale. Taille: 42 mm.
Here is a small Conus archiepiscopus which seems to be f. sirventi from Madagascar and the last Shellshow of the AFC (Paris 2011). The drawings of its turn seem to say that it has not always been this color and the fact that there have been found beached do not plead in his favor. The drawing dark zigzags elongated responds fairly well to the description to Fenaux commented by Lauer in Rossiniana and also the general shape. Size: 42 mm.
Un autre au dessin plus diffus et à l' intérieur rose; il me fait penser à un Conus verriculum que Zonatus montre sur son site. Il est très lisse et léger. Taille: 53 mm.
Another with more diffuse drawing and inside pink, it reminds me of a Conus verriculum that Zonatus shows on its website. It is very smooth and light. Size: 53 mm.
